This tour will take you on a journey through Berat’s history, culture, and stunning Ottoman architecture.
Our experienced English-speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel in Tirana or Durrës and accompany you throughout the trip. We’ll start our journey to Berat, located about two hours from Tirana.
Once we arrive in Berat, we’ll start our tour by exploring the famous Berat Castle, a medieval fortress that offers breathtaking views of the town and the surrounding mountains. Inside the castle, we’ll visit the Onufri Museum, home to a stunning collection of 16th-century icons painted by the renowned artist Onufri and his students. We’ll also explore the castle’s churches, which date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and offer a glimpse into the religious life of medieval Berat.
